At the regular meeting of Lodge Kirknewton and Ratho No.85 held on Monday 10th March 2025, Bro Robert W. Scott PM, PPGM was presented with a 50 year jubilee certificate and jewel by Bro Ronnie Gemmill Provincial Grand Master and Bro Kenny McMaster, master of 85 to mark 50 years in the craft since his initiation into Lodge Kirknewton and Ratho No.85 in February 1975. This was quite a surprize to Bob and the lodge was filled to capacity with brethren visiting from all over Scotland as well as south of the border too. True to form, Bob replied to the presentation and a toast at the harmony with great delight, graciousness and entertainment to the brethren present, reliving some of his most interesting and pleasant stories from his masonic career. He closed by thanking all the brethren for attending and making it such a memorable occasion.
